Although the majority supported the tribe, there was no definitive decision of how the Navajo should proceed in the future.
- UBS announced its plan to buy Credit Suisse for $3.25 billion, which is 60% less than its value when the markets closed on Friday (see 3/15).
- Chinese President Xi arrived in Moscow for a 3-day meeting with Russian President Putin to discuss the next steps in the Russo-Ukrainian War and how they can continue their partnership in the future.

- Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear vetoed a bill that bans transgender youth from gender-affirming healthcare and restricts the public toilets they use.
